Luke Combs gets to duet with possibly the biggest influence on his music career, Brooks & Dunn, on the upcoming Reboot album, due out on April 5th. Luke joins Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn on their 1991 debut chart-topping hit, “Brand New Man,” and as he tells us, it's a very big deal because if not for the duo, he might not be making records today. “That was like it for me. Brooks & Dunn, that was my thing. Those were my guys growing up. Still are, but when they were coming out their sound was very progressive but to me that was like my first experience with country music. To me, like that's what it is, that's it at it's best and that's what it should be. I think their influence is one of the main reasons that I'm doing this to this day is the impact that they had on me from such a young age.”
Brooks & Dunn's Reboot album will also feature 11 other hits reworked as duets with Kane Brown, Thomas Rhett, Brett Young, LANCO, Ashley McBryde, Brothers Osborne, Midland, Cody Johnson, Jon Pardi, Tyler Booth and Kacey Musgraves.
